What happens when 2,200 churches come together in partnership, working with the Luis Palau Association? The result is a region-wide campaign that reaches over 100,000 people with support, services and a message of love, hope and Christian faith.
At the Love Cote D’ivoire Festival, a Christian ministry that took two years of planning, more than 54 outreach events were held in churches, schools, prisons, community centers and neighborhoods. Four hundred volunteers helped launch the first-ever network of evangelists in Cote d’Ivoire and 5000 individuals were trained in personal evangelism. BMX and children’s programs in area schools reached 9,000 children while another 10,000 people were served through eyeglass clinics.
Fulcrum Partners Senior Vice President, Scott Cahill is the Chairman of the Luis Palau Ministries Board of Directors, USA. Scott and his wife, Joanie, provided the financial support that made it possible for Fulcrum Partners to be a corporate sponsor of this empowering event.
“We’ve never seen unity like this in Côte d’Ivoire before. We have groups of pastors who work together but we’ve never seen unity like the churches have working with the Palau team. We’re usually distracted by fractions and disagreements but in working with the Palau team, we now have the same vision, same goal; we’re unified to preach the Gospel throughout the country.” –Akossi Frank, Pastoral Committee member and local pastor
