Kristine Kopsiaftis Lampert, a Fulcrum Partners Managing Director, is actively involved in community initiatives and charitable causes. A Trustee on the Delray Beach Public Library Board of Directors, Kristine lent her support to the February 7, 2020, Laugh with the Library fundraiser.
Hosted at the Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa, Delray Beach, the event drew some 400 attendees to support one of the last not-for-profit public libraries in the state of Florida.
Kristine explained, “The Delray Beach Public Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is not a government service. It is funded through a unique public-private partnership with the City of Delray Beach, the Community Redevelopment Agency, and private donors. Fundraising and strategic business planning are always critical to ensuring the future of this important service for the Delray Beach community.
“Of course, now, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines and mandates,” said Kristine, “the Delray Beach Public Library is closed. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t still serving our community with virtual classes, and other online services that help keep the community connected and provide downloadable digital resources.”
The 2020 event was the fourteenth time the event has been hosted and was designated as Laugh with the Library Chapter 14.
